About Vance
Originally from South Florida, Vance moved to Los Angeles in 2014 after yoga transformed the way he experienced life. In 2025, he followed his heart to New York City, where he continues to teach, learn, and grow.
Before teaching full-time, Vance made his living as a performer. He was also performing in a more personal way—living as a closeted gay man until the age of 25.
Through the study of yoga, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, embodiment, and other movement modalities, he discovered the tools, rituals, and space to become more honest with himself and those around him. That journey ultimately led him out of the closet and into a life rooted in authenticity.
Along the way, he cultivated a stronger, more adaptable body, a more resilient mind, and, most importantly, a deeper relationship with Love. That transformation continues to shape the way he teaches today, creating spaces where people can move, breathe, explore, and reconnect with themselves—intelligently and playfully.
Today, his work spans luxury fitness clubs, studios, private clients, corporations, conferences, festivals, teacher trainings, retreats, and global digital platforms—including becoming a Nike Global Yoga Trainer.
He believes movement can help us become more ourselves, not someone else.
